Before you start
Remove all the packing material and take out the electric kettle with the stand. Remove all
possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance. Before the first use, fill
the electric kettle with clean water to the maximum level, turn it on and let the water boil.
Then pour out the water and repeat the procedure several times (at least five times). You will
boil the kettle out properly this way and get rid of potential taste. If you feel like you have
aftertaste from boiled water, we recommend to repeat the procedure according to the instructions
in the paragraph IV. MAINTENANCE – cleaning the kettle. Another recommendation is to leave
the empty kettle open for 24 hours. The material of the kettle coming in touch with water is
approved of sound health properties. Potential slight “smell” or „aftertaste” during first use after
unpacking the kettle is a common case and should not be a reason for returning the appliance.
III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (fig. 2)
Unwind the necessary length of the power cord B2 from the storage space of the stand
B . Place the stand on a flat, stable, smooth and clean work surface at, out of reach of children
and incapacitated people (see par.
I. SAFETY WARNING
). Plug the fork of the power cord to
the electric socket (kettle beeps 2x). Hold the kettle A on the handle A2 . Open the lid A3 by
pressing the lock button A4 . Fill the kettle with drinking water. The maximum amount of water
is marked on the water gauge

. Close the lid by snapping and make sure that it snaps in
correctly. Place the filled kettle on the stand (it will beep once and the current water temperature
will show on the display). The appliance is now in standby mode.
