BASIC DVD OPERATION
CHAPTER 1 BASIC OPERATION
1. Turn On the TV and Your DVD Receiver
Press the Power button on the player and “Read“ appears on the TV screen.
If there Isn´t a disc in the DVD player, “No Disc“ will be displayed on the both the screen and the
VFD
2. Place A Disc
Press the Open/Close buton on the remote controller or the front of the DVD player, and “Open“
appearson the screen. Then Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc´s label facing up
(double-sided discs have content on the both sides, so you can place either side up), and press
the Open/Close buton again to close the disc tray, “Close“ appears and the player starts to read.
Then the disc strarts platiny automatically.
3. Play
The contents of each disc menu very according to how the disc was authored and what faetures
are included. The disc menu will be turned on for you to select, when Menu button is pressed.
Also play and pause can be switched with the Pause button on the remote.
a) Menu Play (comosite with DVD, SVCD, VCD2.0 discs)
Press Menu Buton
- TV screen displays the DVD Root Menu when a DVDdisc is loaded.
- PBC is initialized on when a SVCD or VCD2.0 disc is loaded.
When a DVD dis cis loaded, you can press Arrow buttons to highlight the menu item you
want to select;
Press Enter or Play buton, to play the highlighted item.
Return when playing: When a DVD disc is playing, press Menu (PBC) buton, and you can
return to Root Menu; As SVCD, VCD2.0, and PBC is on, press Return buton, you can return
to the menu.
Stop
- Press STOP once during playback to stop and hold playback.
- Press PLAY to resume playback from the point you pressed STOP.
- Press STOP twice to stop playback completly.
For disc protection, before you press Open / Close buton to eject the disc tray when playing,
please press Stop buton first. After taking out of disc,
press Open / Close again to close tray.
If you´re not going to use the DVD player for a long time, be sure to remove the electronic
plug.
b) Title Play (composite with DVD disis only)
During DVD playback, press Title button to display the DVD title content.
Press the Arrow buttons to highlight the title you want to chaose, and press Enter; Also you
can press numeric buttons to choose.
The DVD player begins with the chapter 1 of the chosen title.
