WARNING -
Do not use water or liquid detergents. Remove the battery before cleaning.
1. Clean the equipment immediately after use with a damp cloth and some soft, non-abrasive
soap. Do not use cleaning agents or harsh solvents; these may damage the plastic parts in the
equipment. Ensure that no water penetrates the equipment’s interior.
2. Remove grass and mud to prevent it from drying. This could cause problems the next time the
machine is used.
3. Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as much as
possible.
4. Dry the machine completely. Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil and grease.
5. Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.

1. Lubricate the cutting blades after each use.
2. Periodically inspect the blades for damage and wear.
3. Always use the manufacturer’s specified replacement blades.
1. For easier operation and longer blade life, lubricate the hedge trimmer blade before and after
each use.
2. Before lubricating, remove the battery pack and lay hedge trimmer on a flat surface.
3. Apply light machine oil along the edge of the top blade.
4. Always remove the battery pack before lubricating the blades and never apply oil to moving
blades.
