Managing your DECT phones
Register a handset
You can register your phone to up to 4 base units. Each base unit can register up to 4 handsets.
Your handset is registered to the base unit by default and is ready to use. You only have to register your handset if
UNREGISTERED is displayed.
To register your handset when UNREGISTERED:
1. Press
REG
.
2. Press
OK
to select REGISTER.
3.
Press and hold
on the base unit until the IN USE LED on the base flashes (or until you hear some tones from PSTN
base).
4.
Enter the PIN code. (Default 0000)
5. Press
OK
. You will see a confirmation screen when registration is completed.
If registration is successful, the handset will display its name and number. The
icon, which indicates the link between your
phone and the base unit, will display steadily with the battery icon
. This state is referred as “standby”.
If registration fails, a warning screen will display. The handset will not display the handset number.

To register your phone to an additional base unit:

the PSTN base).

Enter the PIN code on your handset. (Default 0000)

. You will see a confirmation screen when registration is completed.
Base select
Your phone may be registered to up to 4 base units.
When your phone is registered to more than 1 base unit, you can select a base unit through which you want your handset to
operate.
To select a base, either:
1. Press and hold
MENU
for one second; you should see the BASE SELECT page.

or
Down
to select the base you wish. Press
OK
.

1. Press
MENU

2. Press

or
Down
to select SYSTEM. Press
OK
.
3. Press
Up
or
Down
to select BASE SELECT. Press
OK
.

to select the base you wish. Press

Delete a handset
You can delete any handsets from the base unit. Once you delete a handset, that handset will no longer have a link with the
base unit.
NOTE:
Your phone must have a link with the base unit in order to use any system features mentioned in this section
EXCEPT for registering a handset.
NOTE:
If you want to delete a registered handset, SUCCESSFUL will appear on your display screen.
If you want to delete an unregistered handset, FAILED will appear on your display screen.
