• Although this product is fully compatible with USB 1.1 and .0 standards, a small percentage
(about 5%) of USB flash drives might not be readable as some USB flash drive manufactur-
ers do not comply with the full (official) USB 1.1 / .0 standards.
Important: This unit does not support USB-MP3 players due to their inherent lack of software
compatibility. Only USB “pen drives” (flash memory USB drives) can be used for playback.
• Removal of USB drives. Never remove (or unplug) USB-drives from the set during playback
of MP3 songs from these media, to prevent damage to your song files or memory devices.
BATTERy PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not combine different types of batteries (e.g. alkaline and carbon-zinc ones) or old batter-
ies with new ones.

If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent dam-
age or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and explode.
