Stopping Procedure

After Each Use

• Examine the machine for damage.

• Clean the machine if necessary.

Stopping Procedure

STEP 1

Move the throttle lever to the SLOW (         ) 
position.

      

CAUTION -

 The engine and exhaust will 

remain hot for a while after use. Ensure the 
engine and exhaust has cooled before 
carrying out any maintenance, refuelling or 
storage.

!

STEP 2

Let the engine idle for one or two minutes.

STEP 3

Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.

STEP 4

Turn the fuel valve lever to the OFF (        ) 
position.

       Sudden stopping at a high speed under a 
heavy load is not recommended. Engine 
damage may result.

!

       Do not move the choke control to CLOSE 
to stop the engine. Backfire or engine damage 
may occur.

!

Emergency Stop

STEP 1

Turn off the engine switch to the OFF position.
