Pole Saw Attachment
Using 10mm spanner, remove nut from the cover (anticlockwise).

Wearing thick gloves, fit the cutting chain over the drive sprocket, as shown.

Fit the bar and feed the inner teeth of the chain into the slot which runs around the bar.
Make sure the adjustment peg sits in the hole on the bar as indicated.

Fit the cover back on, but make sure the adjustment peg stays located in the saw bar.
Refit the nut and hand tighten only. (Clockwise)

Using flat bladed screw driver, turn the adjustment screw clockwise to tighten cutting chain
tension.

Do not over tighten the chain. Using gloves, you should be able to pull the chain up about
5mm from bar. Carefully, pull the chain around the bar. It should move freely with no tight
spots.
CAUTION:
The teeth on the chain are very sharp. Wear thick gloves.

Finally, firmly tighten 10mm nut on the cover. Recheck the tension of the chain and adjust
as necessary by loosening the 10mm nut and turning the adjustment screw.

We recommend you put environmentally friendly, organic chain oil in the oil tank before you
use this attachment. Do not use old engine oil.
