Differential Repair

DISASSEMBLE

Differential Assembly

STEP 1.

Remove the bearing cups. Using a suitable bearing
puller, remove the tapered roller bearings from the
differential assembly.

BEARING CUP

TAPERED ROLLER BEARING

DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY

STEP 2.

Remove the capscrews and hypoid gear from differ-
ential assembly case.

HYPOID GEAR

DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY CASE
