CHARGING YOUR SCOUT
1. Connect the provided MICRO CHARGE CABLE to your Scout. Connect the
other end to a USB power source.
2. A solid RED light on the CONTROLLER LED INDICATOR indicates the Scout is
charging.
3. The RED light will turn off when the Scout is fully charged.
Note: You can use the Scout even while it is charging.
4. A slowly flashing RED light on the CONTROLLER LED INDICATOR means the
Scout is low on battery.
HELPFUL HINTS
• The Scout can operate up to about 30 feet from your SNES console.
• After 5 minutes of no activity, the Scout will go to SLEEP.
• If the Scout is ON and not synced, the CONTROLLER LED INDICATOR will slowly
flash BLUE for 20 seconds, then go to SLEEP.
• When the DONGLE is connected to your SNES console, pushing the DONGLE
SYNC BUTTON will cause the DONGLE LED INDICATOR to flash BLUE.
• The Scout will automatically connect after the initial syncing.
CONNECTING TO A BT DEVICE
(NO DONGLE REQUIRED)
When connecting to a BT-compatible device such as a computer or
smartphone, the controller will show up as “Input device (keyboard, mouse,
etc.)” while pairing. Once paired, the controller will be listed as “Hyperkin Pad.”
Setup and functionality may vary depending on your device.
