Ferrite Bead
•
The included Ferrite Beads should be attached to all wiring that is connected to the gateway. This includes: Speaker
wiring, End Node wiring, Digital Input wiring, and Relay wiring.

The Ferrite Beads should be installed as depicted below and placed within -2 inches of the Gateway.

Audio Connections
Refer to the image below if connecting this device to a speaker.
The IDS-CCULD has 2 speaker outputs.
The speaker outputs can also be adjusted here using the Volume adjustments.
NOTE
:
•
We recommend using 18 AWG wire or larger for the audio signal.
•
Default Volume in the UI is 8. More info on volume in the UI can be found in the
IDS User Interface Guide 7L761.
•
The maximum audio cable length should be kept under 500’.
•
Longer cabling runs will decrease volume level of the speaker.
•
Larger gauge wires will decrease volume loss over longer cabling runs.
