Warning:

all power equipment, a log splitter can be dangerous if assembled or used
improperly. Don’t operate this log splitter if you have concerns about safety. Call our

customer service department to address these concerns.

Caution:

Don’t start or run the engine before adding oil in the hydraulic reservoir

and oil in the engine.

Step 1

: The hydraulic reservoir must be filled with the oil provided. AW32

hydraulic oil is highly recommended. Automatic transmission fluid can be

substituted instead of hydraulic oil when temperatures are below 32 degree F for
easier starting. Use only clean oil and take care to prevent dirt from entering the
