Preventative Maintenance
Because of the harsh environments in which the HarborHoist
TM
G1.5 can be installed, it is very important to
inspect your HarborHoist
TM
occasionally to ensure it is at peak performance. On a monthly basis inspect the
following:
1) GFI trips and resets properly when the TEST and RESET buttons are pressed.
2) All air hoses are firmly attached and there are no apparent leaks present.
3) All the aluminum components are structurally sound and no heavy corrosion is visible.
4) The wood hull pads are structurally sound with no severe cracking.
5) All mounting / attachment brackets are secure.
6) If rope mooring is used, inspect the ropes for any issues that may compromise there integrity.
Most importantly, run your blower fan at least once a month even during the off season. Press the Raise but-
ton on the control and let it run about a minute to help keep the motor contacts and brushes clean.
Warranty
HydroHoist Marine Group warrants the HarborHoist
TM
G1.5 as follows”
A) The polyethylene tanks will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of TEN (10)
years from the date of delivery to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
B) The structural integrity of the aluminum and stainless steel structural members will be free from defects in
material and workmanship for a period of THREE (3) years for the date of delivery to the ORIGINAL pur-
chaser. Under no circumstances will this warrantee coverage extend to damage by electrolysis and corro-
sion.
C) The electric motor will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of TWO (2) years
from the date of delivery to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
D) The remaining components will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ONE (1)
year from the date of delivery to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
HydroHoist Marine Group agrees to provide the necessary parts for the HarborHoist
TM
G1.5 during the war-
rantee periods described above; provided HydroHoist Marine Group receives notice of any such defects within
the applicable specified warranty period
This warranty shall be deemed void and unenforceable and the HarborHoist
TM
1.52 shall be sold “AS IS” and
“WITH ALL FAULTS,” with the entire risk as to the quality and performance to be borne by the original pur-
chaser without any implied warranties of fitness or merchantability if any of the following should occur:
A) If the HarborHoist
TM
G1.5 should be installed at any location other than the original purchaser’s address
specified in the sales agreement..
