Outlet Supply Assembly is 1” copper. A bushing is required if your
existing outlet is smaller or greater than 1”.

Pressure regulator set at 70 psi is required if your inlet pressure
exceeds 80 psi.

Installation Requirements
■
The system should be located after connection for the outside hose bibs, sprinkler system(s), and/or irrigation
line(s). These lines should be left untreated. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
■
Install in a location that is not susceptible to freezing temperatures as damage could occur. Install away from direct
sunlight as prolonged exposure to light can weaken plastic components.
■
The Dualplexx® can be installed left to right or right to left to accommodate your home’s plumbing.
■
The system needs to be mounted to a solid surface (Backing is drilled for 16 inches on center).
■
Allow a minimum of 4” clear space below unit to facilitate replacement filter changes.
■
You may consider an optional Bypass Assembly with additional shutoff valves for convenience when changing your
HydroCare Patented Purification Media.
■
Make a note of the serial number located on the underside of the Bracket prior to installing.

Disclosure: Should you decide to use a plumber, let them know what your home pipe size is and that you are adapting
it to 1”. Ask your plumber to bring inlet adapter and outlet adapters if needed. You may also want to ask your plumber
to bring the other tools required which are an adjustable wrench, a ½” nut driver, and a 5/16” nut driver.
