Replace the eyeball component at your undesignated return inlet
with a trimming eyeball. This type of eyeball has a reduced
opening. Hydro-Flux Flow Trimming Eyeballs are available.

Replace the eyeball trim with a modified blanking off cap or
cover. To modify, simply drill a hole, no larger than 8mm,
through the front. Generally, only one hole is required; however,
more can be drilled if necessary – a maximum of three. The
number of holes needed will depend on your flow requirements.
Excess Flow
When your pool had been constructed with a large pump and few inlets have
been used, you may have excessive flow at your designated installation inlet –
flows above 7.0m

h. If this is the case, you will need to divert some of this
excess flow away from the turbine. If you do not do this, the turbine will be
rotating too fast and the pressure in your system will increase, resulting in
excess noise and wear.
Diverting the flow away from the turbine is very straightforward. Use the flow
Chart below to determine your required gate setting. To adjust the gate
arrangement on your FlowBright please follow these simple instructions.
Gates come fully closed as standard.
1.
Unscrew the gate setting screw in the adaptor fixing plate.
2.
Loosen the other adaptor fixing plate screws, but do not
remove.
3.
Rotate the washer until you reach the correct setting. You
should see the gates in the adaptor/housing either open or
close, depending on your flow needs.
4.
Reattach the gate setting screw and retighten the adaptor
fixing plate screws.
