Preparing the vacuum pump

After delivery/transport by car, check the vacuum pump for the following
points and prepare it accordingly for operation in compliance with the
following steps:

Before each startup, check the air outlet of the vacuum pump to
ensure the air can escape unobstructed.

Before each startup, remove the plugs and any other obstructions and
restrictions at the air outlet of the vacuum pump.

►

If an active carbon filter is installed, remove its protective film.
