Installation instructions
The installation, electrical connection and first
operation of this heater should be carried out
by a qualified installer.
The company does not accept liability for
failure of any goods supplied which have not
been installed and operated in accordance
with the manufacturers instructions.
These instructions should be kept for reference
by the owner of the appliance.
If this unit is exposed to static mains
water pressure, the water container
may start leaking and cause damage.
Installation and water connections
Make sure that no accessories are left in the
packing.
Use mounting template
in the packing.
Please note the following when installing the
unit:
•
The water heater must be installed vertical-
ly, with the inlet and outlet connections at
the bottom of the unit
(Fig. 5 and 6).
•
The inlet tap should be fitted to the right-
hand connection (cold water inlet, Fig. 6).
•
The spout should be fitted to the left-hand
connection (hot water outlet) (Fig. 6).
•
Install in a frost-free environment.
•
Do not restrict the outlet pipe. Do not
connect any aerators or hose with jet
control.
The spout also acts as a vent.
Only open-outlet fittings can be
used with this appliance. It should NOT be
used with standard taps.
Installation
An installation template is provided.
Position and fix heater to wall using mounting
bracket supplied observing water connecions:
Blue = Cold water inlet
Red = Hot water outlet.
NOTE -The water connections must
always remain at the bottom of the
heater. It cannot be turned upside down.
If you confuse the connections, the
water heater will not function, and
will cause damage!
