Operating instructions

for the user and for the installer

Description

The non-pressure HF05L and HF10L water
heater keeps 5 or 10 litres of hot water avail-
able for use at any preselected temperature.
Fig. 2 shows the time that it will take to reheat
the water should the entire volume be used
up.

• The water heater must not be
pressurized. Never block the fitting

outlet and do not use a Perlator or hose
with jet controller.

• If the temperature is set higher than
45 °C, very hot water can flow immedi-
ately!

• Keep children and the disabled (physi-
cal/mental) away from this unit unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or have been given instructions
on how to use it.

• Ensure that children do not adjust the
temperature (to a high temperature) on
the unit when playing -

Risk of scalding!

• We recommend the use of the tempera-
ture restrictor set by the engineer, unless
absolutely necessary otherwise.

• To avoid risk of accidental resetting of the
protective temperature restrictor in the
event of a fault, the unit must not be con-
nected via a timer switch.

If you experience kettling noises or a reduced
water flow it is likely that the unit needs
descaling.

While the system is heating up, water will drip
from the spout.

ing-up process.

Fig. 3 shows the amount of warm water
that you can obtain by mixing cold water (at
15 °C) to the hot water in the HF05L and
HF10L.
Example:
with the thermostat control knob set at
65 °C, the HF05L can supply 10 Litres of
water at 40 °C, when mixed with cold water
at 15 °C.
