2.4. How to Set Prism
You should set it up again if the prism readings are incorrect. And, When
you especially calibrate 5

and 10
∆
lens, you should place it ‘ NOW PRISM
BASE : 270 ’ in the ‘ Prism Setup ’ screen.
A. First, convert prism display format into P-B.
B. After selecting the 2

lens from the standard lens set, place it on
the lens cap.
C. Then, press the ‘ CLEAR ’ ( ) button for a while.
D. Press the ‘ DISP ’ button for a while.
E. Press the ‘ CAL ’ button and check if ‘ DISTANCE ’ value is changed.
F. After selecting the 5
∆
lens from the standard lens set, place it on
the lens cap. Especially, you should place it ‘ NOW PRISM BASE :
270 ’ .
G. Press the ‘ CAL ’ button and check if ‘ DISTANCE ’ value is changed.
H. After selecting the 10
∆
lens from the standard lens set, place it on
the lens cap. Especially, you should place it ‘ NOW PRISM BASE :
270 ’ .
I. Press the ‘ CAL ’ button and check if ‘ DISTANCE ’ value is changed.
J. Press the ‘ SAVE ’ button
K. Press the ‘ QUIT ’ button.
L. Press the ‘ QUIT ’ button again to return to the basic display screen
and check the prism value.
M. Finally, return the prism display format to X-Y.
‘ Prism Setup ’ screen will show the following information:
-
DIOPTER : 2 Prism, 5 Prism, 10 Prism
-
DISTANCE : Distance between the origin, 0D and the center of the
current four points
-
NOW PRISM BASE : Display prism base currently.
