5.2.3 Log Installation
For traditional log installation, see Figure 5.6.
For driftwood log installation, see Figure 5.7.
1. Remove the front trim. See Section 2.5 Front Trim Removal and
2. Remove the glass front. See Section 5.1 Glass Front Removal and
3. Place the ember bed strip into the ember bed slot. See Figure 5.2
4. If installing river rocks with the log set, install logs first. Place the
logs on the surface of the ember bed strip, and the river rocks
around the logs.
5. If installing small crystals with the log set, install small crystals
onto the ember bed strip as shown in Figure 5.4 on page 19.
Apply an even layer the full width and depth of the ember bed
strip. Place logs on top of the small crystals.
6. Reinstall all components previously removed.
