POSITION END CASE

REMOVE PACKAGING
Move the end merchandiser as close
as possible to its permanent loca-
tion at the end of the parent, and
remove all packaging. Check for
damage before discarding packag-
ing. Remove all separately packed
accessories such as kits and shelves.
Remove end braces and discard
hardware. Each case is shipped on a
rider to protect the factory installed
front legs, and to make positioning
the case easier. DO NOT remove
the front rider until the case has
been positioned. Once the rider is
removed, the case must be lifted
–NOT PUSHED– to reposition. To
remove the rider, remove bolts
attaching rider to each leg.
Level two back-to-back parent cases.
The gap between the case backs is
approximately 5

in. wide. Refer to
the Excel Medium Temperature
Installation Manual for leveling
instructions (provided with each
Excel merchandiser).
Shim merchandisers as necessary to
fill gaps and align bumper retainers.
Merchandisers must be level to
ensure proper operation of the
refrigeration system and to ensure
proper drainage of defrost water.
Do not place levels on display pans
or on shelves.
