Using the Retardant Spray System

The retardant spray system is controlled by a switch located on the right joystick.

Requirements

■

Water or water-based retardant in water tank

■

Ambient temperature above freezing

Procedure

Perform the procedure below to operate the retardant spray system.

1. Fill the water tank 

(d) 

with clean water or water-based retardant.

2. Open the valve 

(a)

.

3. Press and hold the water spray switch 

(b)

 to activate the pump. The water or 

retardant will spray from the two nozzles 

(c)

.

NOTICE: 

Drain the retardant spray system if the machine will be subject to 

temperatures below freezing. Frozen water or frozen retardant may damage the 

retardant spray system.
