2.10 To service and repair the
pressure regulation
During servicing, always inspect O-rings and replace
them if necessary. All moving parts, sealing rings, valves
and screw threads must be thinly coated with special
grease for high-pressure cleaners before assembly.
Exceptions are cited in this section.
2.10.1 To check correct operation
1. Connect the high pressure hose and spray
attachment.
2. Connect the water supply
3. Connect the power cord and switch on the machine.
4. Press and release the spray gun trigger several times
for approximatly 5 seconds. The electric motor must
switch on when the spray gun opens and automatically
switch off again when the spray gun is closed.
If necessary, seal the high-pressure system and replace
the start/stop switch and/or control piston.
2.10.2 To remove the control piston
1. Remove the shroud
2. Remove the fastening screw T20 (1) and pull out the
clip (2) to unlock the control piston.
3. Push the pump housing to the capacitator side and
simultaneously pull out the control piston (1). Pay
attention to the pin (2).
2.10.3 To install the control piston
1. Push the pump housing to the capacitor side and
simultaneously insert the control piston (1).
2. Fit the pin (2) in the in the opening (3) of the start/stop
switch housing.
3. Press the control piston into the pump housing as far
as it will go and lock it with the clip.
4. Set the control piston.
5. Check correct operation.
6. Screw in the fastening screws.
7. Refit the shroud.
