2. Remove the water tank cap.
3. Fill the water tank with cold water.
To examine the propane tank and lines
CAUTION: Examine the propane tank and
lines each time the propane tank is filled
and/or connected to the product.
1. Make sure that the propane tank has no damages.
2. Connect the propane tank to the product. Refer to
connect and disconnect the propane tank on page
18
.
3. Apply a soap mixture as a spray at all lines and
connections. For soap mixture use 50% soap and
50% water.
4. If there is a leak, there will be bubbles on the lines
and the connections. Speak to an approved service
agent.
To fill the propane tank
CAUTION: Examine the propane tank and
lines each time the propane tank is filled
and/or connected to the product. Refer to
examine the propane tank and lines on page
27
.
Do not fill the propane tank too much. The propane tank
can hold a maximum of 9 kg/20 lbs of propane. A full
propane tank must not weigh more than 21.8 kg/48 lbs.
If the propane tank is filled too much, frost shows on the
propane lines or on the regulator.
1. Stop the product. Refer to

2. Make sure that the propane tank valve is closed.
3. Remove the propane tank from the product.
4. Fill the propane tank with new propane or replace
the propane tank.
5. If the propane tank is filled too much, use a
screwdriver at the propane tank valve to release
unwanted propane. Release the propane in a safe
procedure, refer to
.
6. Install the filled/new propane tank to the product.

7. If the weather is cold, keep the product indoors
before use to warm up the propane tank. You can
also use a propane tank heat blanket to warm up the
propane tank.
To do a check of the oil level
CAUTION: A too low oil level can do
damage to the engine. Do a check of the oil
level before you start the product.
1. Put the product on level ground.
2. Remove the oil tank cap with the attached dipstick.
3. Clean the oil from the dipstick.
4. Put back the dipstick and put the cap on top of the
tube. Do not tighten it.
5. Remove the dipstick.
6. Examine the oil level on the dipstick.
7. If the oil level is low, fill with engine oil and do a
check of the oil level again.
To replace the engine oil
If the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutes
before you drain the engine oil. This makes the engine
oil warm and easier to drain.
WARNING: Do not operate the engine for
more than 1–2 minutes before you drain the
engine oil. The engine oil becomes very hot
and can cause burn injuries. Let the engine
become cool down before you drain the
engine oil.
WARNING: If you spill engine oil on your
body, clean with soap and water.
