WARNING:
For ramps with a steep
slope, always use a winch. Do not walk or
stay below the product. Do not stay in the
product risk area. Refer to
Work area safety
on page 9 .
WARNING:
Do not move the product
on steep slopes. Look at the rating plate
on the product for information about the
maximum slope angle.
• To move the product down a ramp, operate the
product rearward slowly.
• To move the product up a ramp, operate the product
forward slowly.
• Do not turn the product more than 45° on a ramp.
To lift the product
WARNING:
Make sure that the lifting
equipment has the correct specification to
lift the product safely. The type plate on the
product shows the product weight.
WARNING:
Do not walk or stay below
or near a lifted product. Keep bystanders
away from the risk area. Refer to Work area
safety on page 9
.
WARNING:
Do not lift a damaged
product. Make sure that the lifting eyes are
correctly installed and not damaged.
1. Make sure that the grinding head is set to transport
position. Refer to To set the product in transport
position on page 27
.
2. Attach the lifting equipment at the lifting eyes.
3. Lift the product safely.
To set the product in transport position
1. Fold down the handlebar.
2. For BMG 780 RC, adjust the weights to forward
position. Refer to To adjust the weights BMG 780
RC on page 19
.
3. Put the dust skirt in transport position.
To attach the product to a
transportation vehicle
Use the lifting eyes to attach the product to the
transportation vehicle.
1. Attach the tie-down straps in the lifting eyes.
2. Attach and tighten the tie-down straps to the
transportation vehicle.
Storage
CAUTION:
Do not put the product in
storage outdoors. Always keep the product
indoors.
