Jack Support Bracket

Once you have removed the inside spare tire carrier, you will need to use the included Jack Support Bracket
to support the top of your jack. To install the bracket, you will need to use the factory bolts and spacer for
correct alignment. Below is a photo of the installed bracket (see photo 1 below). Note that a threaded stud is
attached to the jack bracket. This stud is for storage of the factory tire chocks that were previously attached
to the inside mounted spare tire assembly. Use the factory wing nut from this assembly to secure tire chocks
to the Jack Support Bracket as shown below in photo 2. You will also find in your packaging a Jack Bracket
Vibration Dampener (rubber bumper) that is used for vibration suppression. This bumper should be slid into
place as shown in the photograph below. It should be located approximately 2” from the top of the wheel
well and centered under the jack bracket.

You will also find that once the inside spare tire carrier is removed, an open hole will be left inside the rear
door  trim  panel  where  the  tire  carrier  was  attached  (see  photo  4).  To  fill  this  hole  and  give  the  panel  a
“finished” look, we have included a panel plug (see photo 5).

Use the factory tire carrier spacer

behind jack bracket to achieve

necessary spacing.

Attach factory tire chocks to

stud on jack bracket using

factory wing nut.

Hole left by removal of the

factory tire carrier bracket.

Hole shown with provided

panel plug inserted.
