WARNING! When the boat is stored or at dock, the MEGA 360 Imaging transducer
must be turned off to prevent draining the battery.
Power Off the Control Head
1. APEX/SOLIX Series: During operation, tap the top, right corner of the status
bar or press the POWER key, and select Power Off.
HELIX Series: Press and hold the POWER key.
CAUTION! Turning off the control head will NOT power off the MEGA 360
Imaging transducer.
2. Turn off power on the main switch, breaker, or battery switch.
Powering off the MEGA 360 Imaging transducer will be determined by the
installation and power connection on your boat.
Travel with the Pod Installed
The pod must not hit the deck, base, or any objects. This is critical during transport.
For models with the GeigerTec mount: Loosen the bracket arms and rotate the
bracket so that the MEGA 360 pod is safely stowed along the deck or gunwale. Check
the stability of the universal bracket after initial use and periodically thereafter to
ensure that the knobs are tight.
WARNING! During transport, on water or on land, it is important to stow the
MEGA 360 universal mount inside the rub rail of the boat.
