Allocating telephone numbers to one-touch dial keys
The 4 speed-dial keys can be programmed with any telephone number.
Note:
If you want to allocate a telephone number to a speed-dial key the telephone number
must be stored in the telephone book.
1. Press
. “EMPTY” or the first entry in the telephone book will be shown.
2. Press
. “ADD” will be shown in the telephone display.
3. Press
again and enter the desired name of the telephone number on the keypad.
4. Press the corresponding key as frequently as necessary to select the desired letter (see
table on page 36). Press
to delete the last letter entered.
5. Press
to confirm your name entry and switch to the entry of the telephone number.

. Enter the desired telephone number on the keypad. Press
to delete the last digit
entered.

to complete the name/number input.
8. Choose the desired entry with the

to select “SPEED DIAL”
and press

10. “ADD”
will be shown in the telephone display.

to assign the selected number to the corresponding location.
Using the one-touch dial keys
Take the handset from the cradle or press the key

If you press one of the keys marked

the telephone number stored for that key will
be dialed automatically.
Deleting one of the one-touch dial keys
1. Press
. The first entry in the telephone book will be shown.
2. Press
. “ADD” will be shown in the telephone display.
3. Use

to select “SPEED DIAL”
and press

4. “ADD”
will be shown in the telephone display.
5. Use

to page between ADD and DELETE.
6. Press
after you have chosen “DELETE”.
7. “HOT KEY 1” and a stored name will be shown in the display.

to select the desired hot key.

to delete the number from the chosen hot key.
