Intended use
The 4-point spreader bar makes it possible
to lift and reposition a client in the most
comfortable and safe way for both the client
and the caregiver, even during the actual lifting
process.
The tilting movement is powered, which means
that the needed efforts of the caregiver are
reduced to a minimum, meaning lesser risks for
work related injuries.
Intended use of the sizes:
• Small: for smaller persons and/or children,
manual version.
• Medium: for adults and appropriate for
most of the lifting situations, powered
version.
• Large: for patients who require more space
in the sling because of broad-shouldered,
obese or sensitivity to pressure, powered
version.
The Powered 4-point Spreader Bar has been
designed and tested for use indoors and is
classified as an IPX5 product.
The climatic conditions should be as follows:
ambient temperature from 10°C to 40 °C,
relative ambient humidity from 30% to 75% and
ambient pressure from 700 hPa to 1060 hPa.
Important! The product must not be
immersed in water.

The product label contains information about
the (Powered) 4-point Spreader Bar and is
located on the backside of the product.
The product has been tested by an accredited
test institute and complies with the necessary
requirements in accordance with the Medical
Devices Directive for Class 1 products
(MDD93/42/EEC).
The product is CE marked and complies with
the requirements of EN 10535, EN 60601-1
(Electrical Safety) and EN 60601-1-2 (EMC).
Wireless transmission equipment, mobile
telephones, etc. must not be used close to the
device as it may affect its function. Particular
caution must be observed when using strong
sources of interference such as diathermy and
such like, to ensure that no diathermy cables
are placed on or near the device. If in doubt, ask
the person in charge of the equipment or the
supplier.
