General description and Range of application
The battery charger must only be used to
charge Human Care products. When using the
lift, the charger must always be disconnected.
Charge the battery regularly every night.
The charger is fitted with both short-circuit
protection and reverse polarity protection.
Preparations for use with 5000 series lifts:
1. Please make sure you have read and
understood the instructions for the charger.
2. Take the charger out of the box.
3. Fasten the holder at appropriate placement
and position by screws or Velcro strap.
4. Release two laps of the output cable (closest
to the output connector) out of the wound
up cable.
5. Put the output connector through the round
hole in the bottom of the holder.
6. Put the charger in place in the holder with
the wound up cable next to it (left side
preferred to have most visible access to the
LED indicator).
7. Get the output connector through the hole
in the bottom to access the slot for the
remote control.
8. Place the output plug in to the remote
control; keep track of the cord and pull it
gently until the output plug is placed at the
bottom of the holder.
9. Push the remote control down to secure
the connector to its slot at the bottom, this
is most easily done by holding the holder
towards a table (connector slot must be free
from the table) it will be needed some force
to get it in to place but the parts will not
break until it slides in to place.
10. Connect the charger into an easy accessible
mains outlet (The LED on the charger should
turn green).
11. Insert the remote control from the lift into
the charger. If the LED on the charger is
amber, charge until the LED turns green
