14. Programming. 

 

The electronic system of the Skwirrel II can be programmed to fulfil the requirements and needs of the 
wheelchair user. Programming can be done inv three ways: 
 
1. Onboard programming 

 

The programming is done directly on the joystick module. By pushing a certain code using the JSM buttons 
it is possible to enter the set up mode of the electronic system.  For safety reasons, this programming 
method is blocked. 
 
2. Onboard programming with dongle. 

 

Also this programming is done directly on joystick module. To enter the set up mode, a R-net dongle must 
be connected to the R-net bus.

3. programming using the dongle and a computer. 

 

This is the standard way the Huka Skwirrel II wheelchairs are programmed. For this programming a dongle 
and software is required. These dongles and software is available on request at Huka B.V.  

 

14.1 setting up the programming. 

 

First the dongle will be connected to the bus system of the R-net electronic. The easiest way is to connect
