13. System errors.

If there is a problem with the electric system of the wheelchair, the wheelchair will stop driving and an error
code will be displayed of the JSM display. You will see different information on the little screen. First there
is a flashing warning signal. Second, it will show who has detected the error. This can be the JSM, the ISM
or the PM module. Should there be an Omni system mounted on the chair, this can also detect errors.
Below this information you will see a short message of the error. And last but not least, in the right corner a
hexadecimal error code is displayed. This code stands for a specific error. These codes can be checked on
the WWW.PGDT.COM site. It will tell what could be the problem and how to handle.
All error codes are also stored in the memory of the JSM, ISM and PM modules. They can be read using
the PC with dongle.
Erasing error codes
If the error has been detected and the problem has been solved, it is good to clean the memory of the
modules. This way you know all previous information is gone. The registration of actual errors will not be
“coloured” by old information.
