Chapter 3 • Installing the antenna and radio assembly

3. Place one flat washer, lock washer, and hex nut onto each bolt

and tighten until secure.

4. Check to make sure that the tailpiece does not shift from its

proper position or become misaligned in the reflector bracket
when pressure is applied to the feed support arm. If the
tailpiece shifts, you must re-align it and tighten the bolts
more securely.
