INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MHSY Series
WARNING
DISCONNECT POWER DURING INSTALLATION AND BEFORE SERVICING.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before starting the installation, disconnect the power by turning off the
circuit breaker. Turning the power off by using the light switch is not
sufficient to prevent electrical shock.
Read all warnings and information on carton(s) and product(s)
WARNINGS
Disconnect power before installing or servicing.
Install, operate and maintain to meet all applicable codes
Protect all wiring connections with approved insulators
(by others)
Selected fixture voltage must match supply line voltage.
Ensure fixture and wiring are properly grounded.
MOUNTING YOKE MODEL FIXTURES (MHSY)
1. Use a minimum of two 3/8 diameter bolts or one ¾ dia.
Bolt for mounting.
2. Securely tighten all retaining hardware after aiming.
WIRING YOKE MODEL FIXTURES (MHSY)
1. Prepare supply cord as shown in figure 2.
Cord must be rated for min. 90°C 16/3 SOWA.
2. Loosen two screws (5) and rotate cover (6)
counterclockwise.
3. Remove two screws (2), cord grip plate (3),
and cord grip (4)
4. insert supply cord througth the cord grip
plate (3) and cord grip (4).
5. Pull lend of cord back through hold A .
6. Apply strain relief clamlp (B) to end of cord s outer jacket.
7. Pull cord back so that the end of the cord s outer jacket extends not more
than ½ inside the fixture.
8. Tighten cord grip screws (2)
9. Make wiring connections by accessing the supply cord and fixture wires
through the access hole (A).
CAUTION:
Fixture voltage must match supply voltage.
10. Ensure that all unused leads are properly insulated.
11. Replace cover (6) and tighten screws (5).
