LAMP INSTALLATION OR REPLACEMENT:          

Make certain the electrical supply is 

OFF

before 

starting lamp installation or replacement.

1. Remove fixture top cover by loosening the two screws

progressively and evenly.

Install or replace the lamp using only the type and
wattage shown on the fixture label. For installation, lamp
can be inserted through center of reflector stack.

3. Replace the cover making sure all gaskets are clean

and in place. Tighten the screws progressively to insure
even pressure on gaskets.

Installation & Maintenance Instructions

KIM LIGHTING LIMITED WARRANTY

When installed in accordance with Kim Installation
Instructions and accepted trade practices, the following shall
apply:

General Product Limited Warranty Coverage

All material and component parts used in the manufacture of
Kim Products, are warranted to be free from defects of
material and/or workmanship for a period of 1 year from date
of sale, with the following exceptions:

Auxiliary Equipment

All auxiliary equipment (such as lamps, ballasts, and
transformers) provided by and/or included in Kim Products
shall carry the component manufacturer's warranty.

Copper and Bronze Landscape Components

Copper and Bronze Landscape fixture components shall be
warranted against defects of material and/or workmanship,
and failure due to corrosion, for a period of 25 years from
date of sale.

Composite In-Grade Components

Composite In-Grade fixture components installed below
grade, shall be warranted against defects of material and/or
workmanship, and failure due to corrosion, for a period of 7
years from date of sale.  

Aluminum Landscape Components

Aluminum Landscape fixture components not in direct
contact with soil, shall be warranted against defects of
material and/or workmanship for a period of 3 years from date
of sale.  Aluminum fixture components in direct contact with
soil shall be warranted from defects of material and failure
from corrosion for a period of 1 year from date of sale.

Limit of Liability and General Conditions

Only products which are installed, used and maintained in
accordance with applicable Kim instructions, specifications,
and accepted trade practices, are covered by the Kim
Warranty.  During the warranty period, with proof of purchase,
Kim will repair or replace with the same or similar product, at
Kim's option, without charge.  Labor costs are the owner's
responsibility and are excluded from this warranty.  This
warranty is void if the product is modified, tampered with,
misapplied, poorly installed, improperly maintained, or
subjected to abnormal conditions.  

Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the
exclusive remedy of the purchaser.  This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any
implied warranty of fitness for a particular application.  Kim
Lighting shall not be liable to the purchaser for indirect or
consequential damages.

CLEANING REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY 

AND PLASTIC LENS:           

Make certain the electrical supply is 

OFF

.

1. Remove fixture top cover by loosening the two screws

progressively and evenly.

2

Remove the lamp.

3. Loosen the three reflector mounting screws inside the

reflector assembly near the top of the lamp socket. Note
orientation of assembly before removing.

4. Rotate the reflector assembly clockwise and lift the

assembly off of the mounting screws.

5. Clean the plastic and the reflector assembly with a mild

detergent. Rinse and wipe dry. 

DO NOT

use an

abrasive compound or attempt to clean with a dry cloth.

6. Replace the reflector assembly and tighten the three

reflector mounting screws. These screws are not
equally spaced and the reflector assembly will fit in only
one orientation.

7. Install the correct lamp as shown on the fixture label and

check all gaskets to be sure they are clean and in place.

8. Replace the cover. Tighten the screws progressively to

insure even pressure on the gaskets.

BALLAST REPLACEMENT:

Make certain the electrical supply is 

OFF

before

starting ballast replacement.

1. Loosen two set screws at the base of the pole using a

" hex key.

2. Rotate the pole counter clockwise approximately 1" and

lift pole/fixture assembly upward to clear ballast
assembly.

3. Replace ballast with the correct type and wattage.

Connect all wiring as shown in the wiring diagram on
the new ballast.

4. Place the pole body over the ballast assembly and

slowly turn until the pole drops into retaining slots, then
twist clockwise to lock onto the base casting.

Tighten the two set screws at the base of the pole.

The H.I.D. / Fluorescent fixture utilizes a lamp that may
