IV. Daily Maintenance and Troubleshooting Methods
for Bird Repellent
Since the gas gun is in working condition for a long time outdoors, it needs regular
maintenance , usually once a week. Every maintenance includes:
Check if the gas is normal and if there is any air leakage. But never use an open
flame or other source of ignition to check for gas leaks.
Check whether the structure of the gas gun is loose. In particular, the ignition head
behind the barrel is directly affected by the gas explosion. Therefore, pay special attention
to the inspection every time when you maintain it. If there is loose screw or loose nut,
tighten it with a tool.
Open the circuit board sealed box and press any time adjustment button to observe
whether the time is displayed. If the time display is normal, the power supply works
normally. If there is no display, there may be two problems.
Check whether the power supply is normal, such as the battery voltage is normal, and
then check whether the positive and negative poles of the power supply are reversed.
If the above problems are normal, it can be judged that the board has failed.
If the time is normal, the power supply is working properly. Press the gas gun test
button (see picture) to see if there is any sound of air intake or ignition.
If the peripheral device is installed properly, if there is no sound, it indicates that the
board is faulty.
If there is air intake and fire, but the sound of the air is very small, it means that the
gas is blocked. Please clean or replace the air inlet.
If there is no sound of the air intake, replace the high voltage igniter. If there is no
ignition after replacing the high voltage igniter, the board is faulty.
