3.2.15 Deleting Recordings Automatically

Verify that local recording records can be deleted automatically.

Verify that remote recording records can be deleted automatically.
z
Check the deleting results and deleting logs.
3.2.16 Recording Storage and Backup
z
Verify that recording files are uploaded normally.
z
Verify that recordings are backed up normally.
z
Verify that the backed up recording can be played normally.
z
Check the remote storage status and backup program, and verify that recordings are
backed up based on preset criteria, and that the backup data is normal. (Perform this
operation only when recordings are backed up remotely.)
3.2.17 System Alarm

Check whether the alarm service is used in recordings.
z
Check the alarm mode.
z
Verify that the recording alarm service is normal.

to check whether the alarm
program is installed.

All Programs
and click
Hwlog Diagnostics - server side
to open the server
configuration window to view the alarm mode.

Check whether the alarm service is enabled.

3.2.18 CPU and Memory Usage
Use the Task Manager to check the CPU and memory usage. If the CPU and memory usage
remains high, the system performance deteriorates and the system may not respond. You are
advised to check the CPU and memory usage once a week.
Reference Standard
The CPU usage is smaller than 40%, and the memory usage is smaller than 85%.
Checking the CPU and Memory Usage of the Server that Runs the Windows
Operating System
Step 1
Log in to the server as the
Administrator
user.
Step 2
Right-click in a blank area on the desktop and choose
Start Task Manager
from the
displayed shortcut menu.
Step 3
On the displayed
Task Manager
dialog box that is displayed, click the
Performance
tab to
view the CPU and memory usage.
Step 4
If the CPU usage remains higher than 60%, click the
Processes
tab to check the processes that
occupies high CPU usage.
