Cabling
• The USG6310S-WL-OVS supports 4G LTE, 3G UMTS, and 2G GSM SIM cards. The USG6510-WL supports 4G
FDD LTE/TDD LTE, 3G TD-SCDMA/WCDMA, and 2G GSM SIM cards.
• SIM cards are not hot swappable.
• You are advised to place the LTE antenna at least 1.2 m away from the WiFi antenna.
1. Connect the ground terminal on the device to the ground bar using a PGND cable.
2. Internet connection: Connect GE0/0/4 to the Internet using a network cable, or install a SIM card and LTE antennas to
connect to the Internet in 4G mode.
3. LAN connection: Connect GE0/0/6 to the wired LAN using a network cable, or install WiFi antennas to connect to the
wireless LAN.
4. Connect the device' interface GE0/0/0 to the administrator PC using a network cable.
5. Insert the cable retention clip into the hole close to the power socket. Insert the 4-pin self-locking plug of the power adapt-
er into the power socket on the device. Then round the clip over the power cable and
fi
x it using the clip. Plug the other
end of the power adapter to the power supply socket.
As USG does not provide a power switch, it starts up immediately after receiving power. When the SYS indicator on
the SPUA panel is blinking (once every two seconds), the device is running and ready for configuration.
