On the home screen, touch

Touch the recipient text box and enter the contact
name or phone number. Matching contacts are
displayed as you type. Select a contact.

Replying to a message

or phone number to view the conversation thread.

Searching for a message

Enter the message or contact name, or parts of
them. Your phone then displays matching results.
