Description
RUN/ALM: running status indicator
Blinking green (0.25s on and 0.25s off
repeatedly)
The device is starting up.
Blinking green (1s on and 1s off repeatedly)
The device is working in the normal state.
Steady red
The device is faulty.
UPLINK: uplink port status indicator
Steady green
The uplink port is activated.
Blinking green
The uplink port is receiving and transmitting data.
Off
The uplink is not activated.
LINE: G.fast port status indicator
Steady green
The G.fast port is activated.
Blinking green
The G.fast port is receiving and transmitting data.
Off
The G.fast port is not activated.
Indicator status:
•After the device is powered on, the RUN/ALM indicator starts (blinking green at an interval of 0.25s).
About 4 minutes later, it is normal (blinking green at an interval of 1s).
•If the upstream port mode is correct and the Rx optical power of the upstream port is within the normal
range, see the following table the UPLINK indicator to check the upstream port status.
•If one or more users connect to a G.fast port and services are correctly configured, see the following
table the LINE indicator to check the G.fast port status.
Turn on the output switch of the AC power system that supplies for the MA5811S-AE08.
