CIM No : The No. of CIM connected to the battery strings. The No. cannot be greater
than the Number of CIMs set on the Config > Comm. Config page . One CIM No. can
only be set for one UPS.

BIM Start No : The No. of the first BIM connected to each battery string.

BIM End No : The No. of the last BIM connected to each battery string. The BIM End
No. cannot be smaller than the BIM Start No. , and cannot be greater than the Number
of BIMs set on the Config > Comm. Config page .

 The battery string settings are available only when the CIM is configured. If you need to configure
battery strings, set the CIM parameters first by referring to the CIM settings section in
4.6.1 Comm.
Config Page . After the value of Number of battery strings or Number of batteries in a battery
string is modified and submitted successfully, the battery string information will be cleared.
 Number of battery strings and Number of batteries in a battery string refer to information about
the battery strings connected to the UPS. The parameters are not sent to the CIMs. The SNMP card
associates the battery string information with UPSs. The settings of these two parameters are
different from the settings in
Config > Comm. Config > CIM Information Settings .
 A UPS system can connect to a maximum of four CIMs. Different UPSs cannot connect to the same
CIM.


4.4.4 Control Page
In the UPS information area, choose Control > System Commands and Tests , and you can
start or shut down the UPS. For UPS2000-G you can also perform battery maintenance. The
buttons in red are available, and those in gray are unavailable, as shown in
Figure 4-14 .
