Table 5-14
Parameter description of RAID group information interface
Parameter
Description
ID
This parameter indicates the ID of a RAID group.
NOTE
When a RAID group is created, the system allocates an ID to the RAID group. When
you delete a RAID group and then create a RAID group, the system allocates the ID
of the deleted RAID group to the created RAID group. For example, three RAID groups
RAID01, RAID02, and RAID03 are created in sequence. The ID of RAID01 is 0. The
ID of RAID02 is 1. The ID of RAID03 is 2. After you delete RAID02 and then create
RAID04, the system allocates the ID 1 to RAID04.
Name
This parameter indicates the name of a RAID group.
Level
This parameter indicates the level of the RAID group. The level can be
RAID
0
,
RAID 5
,
RAID 6
or
RAID 10
.
Total
Capacity
(MB)
This parameter indicates the total capacity of a RAID group. The unit is MB.
Free Capacity
(MB)
This parameter indicates the free capacity of the RAID group. The unit is
MB.
Status
This parameter indicates the status of the RAID group. There are the
following options:
l
Normal
: indicates that functions and running parameters of the system
disk are normal, and no mistake occurs.
l
Fault
: indicates that part of or all the functions of the controller are
degraded or out of work. An error cannot be recovered.
l
Degrade
: indicates that the RAID group can function normally but cannot
exert the best performance.
Number of
Hard Disks in
a Mirroring
Group
This parameter indicates the number of mirroring disks of the RAID group.
When the level is RAID 10, the parameter is valid.
Member Disk
List (subrack
ID, slot
number;
subrack ID,
slot
number...)
This parameter indicates the member disk list of a RAID group.
Take 00, 4; 00, 5; 00, 6; 00, 7 as an example. It indicates that the RAID group
consists of four member disks. The four hard disks are located in subrack00
and in slots 4, 5, 6, 7 in sequence.

Exception Handling
