7 Installing/Routing E1 Cables

CAUTION

Overhead Cabling

Underfloor Cabling

NOTE

Use a #0 Phillips screwdriver to 
install E1 cables.

When TPA1MQ1, TPA1MPA, TPA1EG16, TPA1EG24, TPA2EG24 
(EG16, EG24 boards equipped with electrical modules) cannot be 
installed in the slot 1, 16, 17, or 32 (edge slot).

A TPA1MQ1 with E1 interfaces 
supported must be installed in 
slot 1, 16, 17, or 32. Ensure 
that E1 cables are routed on 
the side of the chassis, without 
passing through the subrack 
cable tray.

A TPA1MPA with E1 
interfaces supported must be 
installed in slot 1, 16, 17, or 
32. An E1 cable must be 
routed on the side of the 
chassis, without passing 
through the cable tray.

connector. Silkscreen on the gray cable is SEYVP-120 42 x 2 x 0.4.
