Scenario 1
Installing adjustable guide rails for a 4U device
Scenario 2
Installing adjustable guide rails for a 2U device
The length of the adjustable guide rail ranges from 600 mm (23.64 inches) to 900 mm (35.46 inches), and
it can be installed in the cabinet with a depth from 800 mm (31.50 inches) to 1100 mm (43.34 inches).
The adjustable guide rails are initially equipped with positioning pins applicable to square installation holes
only. For round installation holes, replace the positioning pins.
After the left adjustable guide rail is installed, install the right adjustable guide rail in the same method.
If you do not have a floating nut mount bar, you can use a flat-head screwdriver instead. When using a
flat-head screwdriver to install the floating nuts, handle it gently; otherwise, the flat-head screwdriver
may skid, and thus injure the hands or storage devices.
For the 4U device, the adjustable guide rails provide installation holes for only the two lower M6 fixing
screws, and thus, the floating nuts for the two upper M6 fixing screws need to be installed.
For the 2U device, the adjustable guide rails provide installation holes for all the four M6 fixing screws,
and thus, no floating nut needs to be installed.
