Connect one end of the OTG cable to the charging port on your phone.

Connect the other end of the OTG cable to a USB device. 

OTG is a USB transmission technology that allows a phone to connect to a USB flash drive, 
digital camera, keyboard, or mouse using an OTG cable and play HD videos. 

2.27 What can I tell from the status indicator? 

 

Blinking red: The battery is low. 

 

Blinking green: There are unread messages or missed calls. 

 

When your phone is charging: 

−

 

Steady red: The battery level is low. 

−

 

Steady yellow: The battery level is medium. 

−

 

Steady green: The battery level is higher than 90%. 

2.28 Can I use other power adapters other than the 
provided one to charge my phone? 

You can use other power adapters provided by Huawei. However, it is recommended that you 
use the power adapter provided with your phone, because non-standard power adapters may 
generate excessive current that shortens your battery's life span or lower current that prolongs 
the charging time.
