Emulation lets
your device
act as a smart
card so it can
be used for
things like
accessing
public transit
systems,
mobile
payment, and
door entry.
l
SIM card emulation: First, contact your
mobile carrier to obtain a SIM card that
supports NFC. Download and install the
carrier's payment app .
Insert the NFC-enabled SIM card into slot 1
for use.
l
HCE emulation: First, download your bank's
app and follow its instructions to link a bank
card. For detailed support information, please
contact the issuer of your bank card. A card
that supports Quick Pass is required in order to
use Cloud Quick Pass.
l
SIM card emulation:
Emulation allows the
SIM card provided by
your carrier to act as
a card that can be
used for making
payments. To do this,
you need to install
your carrier's
payment app.
l
HCE emulation:
Emulation allows an
app on your device to
perform the functions
of chip-based security
technology in order
to make payments.
This requires that an
HCE app be installed
(such as Quick Pass
supporting apps
provided by UnionPay
and other major
banks).
Use Your Phone as A Virtual Transportation Card with NFC
NFC allows you to swipe your Phone when using public transport, eliminating the need to carry cash
or transportation cards. Simply place your Phone against the card reader to pay for your journey.
Before adding a transportation card in your carrier's payment app, contact your carrier to request
an NFC-enabled SIM card and insert this SIM card into the card slot 1.
