5 Message
Writing and Sending a Message
1.
In the standby mode, choose
Menu
>
Messages
>
Create
Message
. You can also access the
Create Message
menu by
pressing and holding
for about two seconds in the
standby mode.

Write the message.
You can press
(
Options
) for the following options:
l
Send
: Allows you to send the message.
l
Save
: Allows you to save the message as a draft.
l
Insert Quick Text
: Allows you to edit the message based on a
template.
l
Insert Contact
: Allows you to insert the phone number of a
contact into a message from
Contacts
.
l
Priority
: Allows you to set the priority for messages. The
message priority function is network dependent.
l
Callback Number
: Allows you to set the callback number.
The callback number is sent to the message recipient by default.
You can set it to either your phone number or other numbers.
When the recipient receives your message, the callback number
can be viewed for calling back.
Select
On
and enter the phone number.

When entering the number(s) of the recipients, you can choose
Options
>
Contacts
to select the number of one contact in
Contacts
, or choose
Options
>
Group List
to select the
numbers of a group of contacts.
