After the number is correctly entered, press 

 to dial.

NOTE

You can dial a number with a maximum of 25 digits. If the number has more than 16 digits, the number
displayed the LCD automatically switch to a smaller font in order to accommodate the whole number. You
can preview the number to be dialed and modify it before dialing.

Redialing a Number

You can quickly redial numbers that you have dialed.

7.5 Answering a Call

When a call is received, the handset rings and the message "Incoming call" is displayed on the
LCD. If the calling number can be identified, it is also displayed on the LCD.

To answer the call, press 

 or select 

Answer

. If the handset is on the base unit and if the

auto answer function is enabled, picking up the handset will answer the call without pressing
any buttons. During the call, the LCD displays the call duration.

7.6 Performing Operations During a Call

Turning On/Off the Hands-Free Function During a Call

During a call, you can activate the hands-free function by turning on the handset speaker.

To turn on the speaker during a call, press 

. The icon 

 then appears on the LCD.

l

To turn off the speaker, press 

 again. The icon 

 then disappears from the LCD.

Adjusting the Volume

During a call, you can press the up or down navigation button to adjust the volume of the earpiece
or the speaker. The icon   on the LCD indicates the current volume. More blue bars mean
louder volume. When the last bar becomes red, it indicates that the volume is the loudest.

Muting or Unmuting the Microphone

During a call, the microphone can be muted so that the other party on the call cannot hear you.
This function allows a private conversation with others nearby.
