3.5.7 Configuration Principles for the CPRI Ports on the RFU in the
UMTS+LTE Base Station

When a base station works in UMTS+LTE mode, the RFUs in the cabinet are the WRFUs and
LRFUs, and the boards configured in the BBU are the WMPT, WBBP, LMPT, and LBBP.

CPRI Port Configuration Principles

The UMTS+LTE base station works in co-cabinet mode.

l

The WRFUs use the configuration principles for the CPRI ports on RFUs in UMTS mode.

l

The LRFUs use the configuration principles for the CPRI ports on RFUs in LTE mode.

The CPRI port connection principles in UMTS+LTE mode are shown in
