1.5.1.1Welding Wire Diameter Selection Button
The diameters including ф1.6, ф1.2, and ф1.0 are available. Corresponding indicator is on after a
diameter is selected.
1.5.1.2Adjustment Mode Adjusting Button
The adjustment modes including separate adjustment and one-knob intelligent adjustment are
available. The former indicates that current and voltage are adjusted by two different knobs on the
wire feeder controller; the latter indicates that the voltage automatically matches the given current,
and can be finely tuned by a voltage knob.
1.5.1.3Gas Check Button
After you press this button, gas starts to be transmitted and lasts for 30 seconds, during which if
you press the button again, gas transmission stops.
1.5.1.4Welding Wire Check Button
Welding wire starts to be feeded when this button is pressed, and stops being feeded when this
button is released.
This button has the same function as the inching button on the controller.
1.5.1.5Solid Wire or Tubular Wire Selection Button
1.5.1.6Working Mode Selection Button
There are three working modes, including two-steps, four-steps, and spot welding.
(1)
two-steps working mode: Turn on the switch on the welding torch to start welding, and turn
off it to stop welding. This working mode is applicable to short seam welding.
(2)
Four-steps working mode: Press the switch on the welding torch to start an arc, and release it
to start welding. When you press the switch again, the welding torch is under the control of
arc stopping parameters set by the knob on the front panel, and when you release the switch,
the welding torch stops working. This working mode is applicable to welding of long seams.
(3)
Spot welding mode: An arc is started when you turn on the switch on the welding torch, and it
automaticlly stops when the specififed period of spot welding is expired. If you turn off the
switch within the specified period, the arc is stopped.
1.5.2Parameter Setting Area
(1)
Rotary Knob of Arc Stopping Current or Spot Welding Period
At the four-steps working mode, this rotary knob is used to adjust the arc stopping current.
At the spot welding mode, this rotary knob is used to adjust the period of spot welding,
ranging from 0.5 to 5 seconds.
(2)
Rotary Knob of Arc Stopping Voltage
At the four-steps working mode, this rotary knob is used to adjust the arc stopping voltage.
