Preparing for Breakdown and Eventual Installation:

ELX Boilers, VWHs, and their components are extremely heavy.
Take care when breaking down, hoisting, and rebuilding these
appliances and any components thereof. Failure to follow these
instructions could result in substantial property damage, including
damage to the appliance, severe personal injury, or death.
Installing the Rack System:
1. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove all of the doors (front and
sides) from the appliance. See Figures 1 and 2.
Carefully consider installation and read the entire appliance
installation manual before breaking down the appliance. Failure
to properly take factors such as appliance venting, piping,
condensate removal, and wiring into account before breaking
down the appliance could result in wasted time, money, and
possible property damage and personal injury.
In addition, the appliance and its components are very heavy. No less
than two people are required to safely break the appliance down,
and it is required to use hoisting equipment that can safely manage
the full weight of the appliance to lift and move components to the
chosen installation location.
2. Disconnect the cable from the display.
